Spring is coming, spring is coming... here are eagles, and gulls, and soon it will be time to head farther north, seeking the tasty putrid remnants that emerge from the rapidly melting snow...

Amid all the grey-purple-striped Chicago pigeons I spied a single inky bird rising above the downtown traffic this morning to perch on a lamppost in between the skyscrapers... thought of your raven too.

Anne, there is such beauty even in the middle of the city..... this morning, I watched 7 swans fly overhead in v-form, headed north!
