Comedic Interlude

For Lirio, with thanks for making me smile!

"Home Hardware" redefined...

One day when I was shopping
a bargain I did spy
for when it comes to hardware
there's more than meets the eye.

I thought my tools were adequate
for every household task.
Who would want a larger one,
and for what? I had to ask.

But when it comes to shopping deals
what girl can pass them by?
So I bought myself a huge new tool
which I'm afraid to try!

HA! What's yer tool do? That's 'cary...

My sister works at home hardware. She'd get a hoot out of this! But then so did I, and I don't like to share with my sister.

I'm not very good with tools, but I've come across a number of them in my lifetime!

Nice little ditty. I like it!

Haha, Erin, when I saw the sign I was sure the Home Hardware employee wrote it that way on purpose. The double-meaning... it sure sent my imagination into the gutter!

Kat, I hope you'll never have a need for a huge tool, but if you ever do, you know you can find them at the Whitehorse Home Hardware!

Ha! Now go back and look at the H's on the sign. Hmmm...

Teehee! What do you think? A bit of subliminal messaging there?

Ha ha, awesome. There's so much that I could write right now, but my better judgement is preventing me.

Michael, go for it, let it all hang out! :-)

I'll only go so far to ask if your new tool is battery operated (and how many and what size of battery/batteries does it require) or is there a cord that you need to plug in?

RachelW said...

Ah, such a... modest question.

WOW! Are the tools as "Huge" as the sign? Or is the price of these "Huge" tools the scary part?

Huge rip-off!...;)

Lupo! Go make breakfast, you cheeky mutt! Or I'll get out some huge scissors and give you a haircut.

Cat, :-)
