The Mother Magazine

My poem Outside In has been published in the March/April issue of The Mother Magazine. I cannot think of a better home for this poem. It is ethical, enlightened, earthy, and full of glorious ideas, writing and images; I feel honoured to have my work included there.

D'oh! I can't read! Does that mean I have to buy it? I think ultimately that is the idea, right?

Thank you Lisa, Faith and Erin! Erin, I'm glad you found the poem. :)

I'm not one for leaving my work somewhere where people have to pay to see it, including me, though I do understand the need for publishers to sell their stuff. The Mother is worth the subscription price, in my opinion, but it's more of a philosophical issue I have regarding access. I don't submit my writing anywhere that won't let me blog it, for instance, nor anywhere that won't let me publish the same piece of work elsewhere, even if they "pay" for the piece. It's not for sale, haha!
