A glorious day

One degree Celsius, and you couldn't find a better day! Oh, come with me!
Together, we will fly at the speed of Dog Build a village from the sweat of the sky and the bones of the land
Darken our winter-weary skin
And leave our mark for all to see.

(Oh, boots! Such glorious boots!)

I LOVE that you are roasting yourself in the warmth of the sun. Here you are indulging, where I've harumphed the spring away. Wonder what my neighbours would say if I went out topless tomorrow?

Beautiful spirit, you.

Sunbathing in the snow...sounds like a good title for a poem. When will the winter end? Have a great week. LL

I remember as teenagers, my sister and I would put on our bikinis and sunbathe in the snow. The sunwarmed skin reflected our sunny spirits. How wonderful to see that same playfulness still lives!

May the sun continue to shine on the colorful bird in you...;)

Erin, who cares what they think? Do it anyway! Ha!

Faith, yes, it was a wonderful day. :) I love long weekends!

Lorenzo yep... there is something fun and twisted about it, but we have to take the sun whenever we get it. And it is so nice to be able to take one's shirt off without being eaten alive by blackflies.

Jozien, I hope you got out to enjoy it, too! Knowing you, I'm sure you did.

Karen, I hope you can still indulge! :)

Scrappy wolf, and on you, too.

Rick, yeah! Hey, that's a great excuse. I'll have to remember that one.

Yes! Yes! Yes! I miss the feel of sand between my toes.

If we don't celebrate the seasons, what do we have to live for?

Kelly, yes! Sand, wonderful stuff. We have enough here now (brought home in people's boots and pockets) to make an entire beach of our own.

You are a hardy soul, aren't you? Around here, we travel at the speed of crazy cats! (Indoors, anyway.)

Kat, heh, yes I suppose so... somewhat hardy, at least for short periods of time, in the sun! C, thanks for the flattery. :) Crafty, mmhmm, you can't beat it, really.
