Soaring summer sky
Flames have swallowed starlit night
Speckled bird’s delight

The metamorphosis of sky to flame to star to bird's wing, it is how I manage to fall into truths sometimes.

Beautiful! This makes the long winter feel tolerable.

I agree with Karen; this is a welcome vision on a cold winter's morning.

Beautiful image. I imagine your summers don't see much in the way of stars way up there in the North where it is light all night.

Echoing Karen and Poetikat, this is splendid on a (grey and sleety) day like today. Things that were and things to come.
